New year, new goals…

I have struggled to set and achieve goals in the past. About 18 months ago a colleague introduced me to Michael Hyatt’s Full Focus Planner. It was exactly what I needed to set goals and make progress; it has made an enormous difference in my life. In developing the perfect week, I did find myself in a trap. I was tried to schedule time each week to work on my goals, as I had previously set goals and just didn’t reach them because I didn’t have time.

What I failed to realize, was that I was letting my schedule run me, vs running my schedule. Something else Michael Hyatt teaches. It took close to twelve months for me to finally change my mindset. What is important, what is my goal, get that done. Schedule everything else around it. Don’t break your goals into little pieces to fit them in around your “schedule”. GOALS ARE YOUR SCHEDULE.
