1X Technology Neo Humanoid Robot

About 1X Technologies (formerly Halodi)

1X Technologies a Norwegian robotics company founded in 2015 has a staff of 60. The Company has raised over $36m in seed and series A financing to develop a bipedal robot called Neo. The goal of the company is to create robotics technology that can improve the quality of life for people around the world. 1X Technology precedes its flagship product Eve, a wheeled humanoid robot, with Neo.

Halodi’s history can be traced back to Bernt Børnich and Oyvind Reed’s work in the field of robotics. Børnich had previously worked on developing humanoid robots for the entertainment industry. Reed had worked on developing exoskeletons for physical rehabilitation. The two started Halodi after realizing there was a need for robotic technology that could help people in a variety of physical contexts.

Eve Humanoid

In 2019, Halodi introduced the Eve humanoid robot, originally designed for research, which quickly garnered attention for its advanced capabilities and impressive design. ADT Commercial, an early-stage investor launched EvoGuard, an intelligent autonomous guarding solution.
